The GFWC is an international volunteer community service organization with members throughout the United States and in 20 countries. Through its volunteer membership, GFWC has worked since 1890 on a broad program of social reform ranging from support of the first child labor law to equal pay for equal work, a youth suicide prevention program and a safety for older Americans program.
GFWC Mission Statement
The General Federation of Woman's Clubs is an international woman's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
About GFWC North Valley Women's Club
Ten civic minded women chartered the GFWC Anthem Women's Club in November 2003. The name was officially changed to GFWC North Valley Women's Club in September 2006 to reflect that we service all of the North Valley. The club is open to women who are interested in impacting the lives of others within the North Valley area. If you are seeking friendship, fun activities, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference then please join us at our next meeting.
